How trial lessons work

When you choose a new teacher or school through DanceLink, you always start with a trial lesson. For this first lesson, payment is made only through our platform and you pay nothing at all directly to the teacher or school. This lets you get to know each other and see whether the lesson suits you before you go further.

After the trial you become a student of that teacher or school. From then on, you contact them however you like to arrange your next lessons: you can send them a private message directly on our site, or reach them by phone, email and so on. The platform no longer takes part in bookings or payments — price and payment are arranged only between you and the teacher/school.

• Private lessons: The trial lasts 30 minutes and is charged for that time only.
• Drop-ins: For your first drop-in lesson with a new school or teacher, you pay only half the price through the site.
• Monthly subscription classes: The trial is one lesson at a reduced price, giving you time to try it before continuing directly with the school.
